Air pruning is the main advantage
When a root reaches the fabric wall it meets air and stops extending, prompting the plant to branch instead. The result is a dense fibrous root mass rather than a spiral of circling roots.

Drainage is nearly foolproof

A full ten gallon bag is heavy. Reinforced handles stitched down the side rather than just to the rim are the difference between moving a bag and losing the bottom of it.

Cleaning and storing between seasons
Empty, brush out, rinse and dry fully before folding. Stored damp they mildew, which is the usual reason a reusable bag lasts only one year.
